According to various sources, Banksy printed approximately one million notes (prints) with the Queen's portrait replaced with an image of Princess Diana. The notes were released into the crowds at the Notting Hill Carnival and Reading Festival in 2004. Provenance: Galway, Ireland collection, purchased at auction.
