Additional Information: Work is titled "War." Provenance: Private Collection, New York, New York and Juno Beach, Florida. The original owner was a flamenco dancer and teacher who retired from dance and started working in NYC galleries, hanging the art and often choosing new artists. The artists often had him sit as a subject and gifted pieces to him, which he later gave as a collection to his friend and colleague of several decades, who brought them to Florida. Several lots from this collection are offered in this sale: works by Charles Apt, Francis Cunningham, Julio Larraz and Ronald Sherr.
