The consignor shared the following story of the three signed soup cans offered in this auction: Grace Hokin of Hokin Galleries threw a party, and the cans were the favors given to guests. Ms. Hokinwas friendly with Andy Warhol and had shipped him cases of cans to sign. These cans came from the collection of a Palm Beach guest who attended the party. Provenance: from a single collection (ID: 7357), Palm Beach, Florida. (note: three cans are offered in this auction, with each lot consisting of one artist-signed can)
