Additional Information: Work is titled "Picture of a French Franc" from the "Pictures of Money" series. This version is the 50 franc note with Antoine de Saint-Exupery, author of "The Little Prince," with the titular character also appearing in the painting. Lot includes a copy of "The Little Prince" hardcover book along with the catalog for Borower's 1999 "Pictures of Money" exhibition at Galerie Andreas Binder, Munchen, Germany with one of the bank notes which inspired the series. Several earlier versions of the 50 franc note paintings are depicted in the catalog.
