Additional Information: Vessel has a large center spout surrounded by five smaller spouts, each ringed by etched designs. The vine-like handle blends into a belt of leaves in high relief encircling the vessel's pierced waist. Provenance: Consignor states the vessel was purchased from James Carpenter on 2.15.1974. Carpenter is documented as the collector who purchased nearly the entire remaining collection from the artist's family.
