Additional Information: Ettore Sottsass (Italian, 1917-2008) was a noteworthy Memphis designer and a friend of the photographer. The sofa depicted in the photograph is one of his own designs. Provenance: Artist | Collection of Georges Boisgontier, France | Private Collection, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, France. French sculptor Georges Boisgontier, best known for his collaborative chess set with Arman, was friends with Helmut Newton during his time in Monte Carlo, and received these prints (lots 317 and 318) as gifts, which he then gave to his wife.
