Provenance: Private Collection, New York & Palm Beach. In the late 1980s, the couple worked with Sid Deutsch Gallery to acquire a collection totaling around forty works by Hilla Rebay, Rudolf Bauer and Rolph Scarlett and others from the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Several of these have been featured in previous Palm Beach Modern Auctions sales.
