Additional Information: Work titled "Waiting to Exhale" was exhibited in the artist's "Goodbye to All That" solo show at Gavlak Gallery and is depicted in situ on their website. In press for the 2012 show, the gallery wrote: "Andrew Brischler's paintings and drawings explore his queer identity through his relationship to American popular culture." Lot is accompanied by the purchase receipt issued by Gavlak Gallery, Palm Beach, Florida, dated 10.6.2012.
