Bronze 'Noah's Arc' sculpture by Frank Eliscu (1912-1996). Catapulted to fame only two years after graduation from Pratt Institute of Design with his 1935 creation of the model for the Heisman Trophy (the plaster model of which sold at Sotheby's in 1995 for $190,000 plus buyer premium), Mr. Eliscu won numerous important commissions (e.g., Tiffany & Co., Steuben Glass, the Atoms for Peace Sculpture in Ventura CA, Banker's Trust building in New York City) and awards for his sculptures throughout his lifetime, as well as exhibitions in many important art museums.
