Country of Origin & Materials: American; glazed earthenware

Additional Information: Vase has ribbon handles and a high-gloss cobalt blue glaze. Provenance: Consignor states they purchased the piece from a Maryland collector on 6.9.1984, who had acquired it from James Carpenter. Carpenter is documented as the collector who purchased nearly the entire remaining collection from the artist's family.
