Large-scale poster for the 1932 film MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, directed by Harry Joe Brown, starring Jack Oakie, Thomas Meighan and Marian Nixon. The consignor states there are no other known extant examples of this poster. Provenance: Property from the Collection of Cyndi Lauper | Millea Bros., Boonton, New jersey 5.11.2017 auction, lot 1224. This lot is from the personal collection of an important Soho-New York gallery owner. The collection represents over 30 years in business and his passion for 20th century design.
