Work is titled "The Knockdown." Murray Gaby was a boxer and fight manager, as well as an accomplished artist. Lot is accompanied by a copy of the purchase receipt and the Lifestyle page of "The Miami News" dated 1.19.1982 which includes an article about the artist and depicts what the consignor describes as the companion piece to the work offered here, produced several years earlier.
