The work is float-mounted, matted and framed, with letter of provenance verso signed by Roberto Savi (well-known Roman art consultant and critic) attesting the work to be from his private collection and originally given to him by Plinio de Martiis, owner of the important gallery La Tartaruga which introduced Cy Twombly and others to Rome.
