Mikael represents the new generation of glass artists who both design and manufacture their art themselves. Trained by both the family, but also by the Venetian master Benito Marcolin, Mikael masters most glass techniques. This can be seen in the breadth of his collections, where everything from the Swedes  The Graal and Ariel techniques are represented, to classic Venetian filigree, but also his self-developed enamel technique Vitreo Captum. Mikael's art glass  is inspired  of  everything from architecture to pop art and nature." -
