The bergeres were photographed for two of Geoffrey Bradfield's books. A pair of throw pillows in matching upholstery is included. Lot is accompanied by a copy of the purchase receipt issued by Jay Spectre, Inc. dated 12.15.1989. This lot is part of a collection from a Louisville, Kentucky residence decorated by Jay Spectre. The award-winning interior and furniture designer was known for his luxurious pieces influenced by Art Deco, Asian and African themes. This is evident in the pieces he selected here, some of which still bear his gallery label.
