Pair of 18K gold and enamel cuff links, circa 1930s. Provenance: The Estate of Michaele Vollbracht, Safety Harbor, Florida (who stated that the cuff links were a gift, originally from the Krupp family of Germany). Michaele Vollbracht (1947-2018) was an artist and fashion designer working both under his own name and for other designers, notably Bill Blass Limited, Geoffrey Beene and Donald Brooks. Vollbracht was the designer of Bloomingdale's famous Face Bag, and recipient of the 1980 Coty Award. His artwork has been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Smithsonian Institution and is included in many private collections, among them former President Gerald Ford, Diane von Furstenberg, Elizabeth Taylor, and Paloma Picasso. {source: Wikipedia}
