Additional Information: Chair is a newer production model using Hans Wegner's traditional upholstery materials. Per records provided by PP Mobler, "AP Stolen produced the "Papa Bear" chair (model AP19) until the mid 1970s. Remaining frames were handed over to Johannes Hansen who never ran a full production of the frame and the upholstery. The chairs were out of production until 2003 when we asked Wegner if we could put them back in production to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Today we have the production rights from the Wegner family, and we established our own upholstery workshop where we still build up the Papa Bear (model PP19) using old traditional upholstery materials.
