Additional Information: Lamp is one of approximately three dozen unique fish and snake lamps done by Frank Gehry. Provenance: Artist | Private Collection, Kensington, Maryland, thence by descent. The consignor's father was an architect and engineer who worked for Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and helped design the exhibition "Sheet Metal Craftsmanship: Progress in Building" at the Washington DC National Building Museum in 1988. He was given the lamp as a gift by Gehry.
