Additional Information: Vitrine in figured quarter-sawn anigre has mother of pearl and diamond-patterned parquetry inlays. The keyed glass door reveals room for adjustable shelving and the two doors reveal storage (key is not present). The vitrine detailing includes ormolu beading and sabots on the front octagonal and tapered legs. The dining set comprised of table, sideboard/commode and chairs were commissioned by the Derveaux family in 1953 and are depicted in situ in a 1956 photograph in the dining room of Mr. & Mrs. Derveaux in "The House of Leleu." The chairs were also featured in the Introspective Magazine article "10 Interior Designers Reimagine Iconic Rooms" (Jorge S. Arango, 6.28.2020). Condition

very good, patina to metal, glass cracked at lower left edge, minor wear and a few paint spots to legs, one missing segment of inlay, wear consistent with age and light use
