Richard Bosman is a painter and printmaker known for his scenes of dark drama. He draws on pop culture influences such as pulp fiction illustration and crime photography to portray these scenes in a sensational, but slightly kitschy, way. Richard Bosman is the recipient of a 1994 Guggenheim Fellowship. His work has been exhibited at The Museum of Modern Art, National Academy Museum, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and The British Museum and in galleries worldwide.
