The selected pieces in this auction are among his earlier works, centered around the themes of crime, disaster and turbulent seascapes. Richard Bosman is the recipient of a 1994 Guggenheim Fellowship. His work has been exhibited at The Museum of Modern Art, National Academy Museum, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and The British Museum and in galleries worldwide.
