Additional Information: "Just what is it that makes today's home so different, so appealing?" is the artist's famous work, a precursor to the British pop art movement. Richard Hamilton made the original collage in 1956 for the "This is Tomorrow" exhibition at Whitechapel Art Gallery in London, a satirical look at advertising and the public's fascination with the "perfect" American lifestyle.
