Additional Information: Work is an alteration of the KAWS "X-Man" art toy partially embellished in Huichol beadwork. Rick Wolfryd's "Alterations" series is a cultural commentary consisting of embellished or reconstructed versions of well-known pop art pieces, half clad in the intricate beadwork of the Huichol people of Mexico. Historically associated with religious significance, the practice has in time become more commercial. Provenance: Artist.
