Additional Information: This is one of the serigraph announcement cards reproducing the "Hexagon" oil painting (1962, from the "Polygon" series). The cards were printed in conjunction with the publication of "Ten Works by Ten Painters." The edition size is unknown and the cards were mostly unsigned, with the exception of several signed by Indiana for friends. Gallery stamp to reverse: Ellen Traut Collection, Hartford, Connecticut. Provenance: Private Collection, Hartford, Connecticut. The consignor has a lifelong passion for pop art. In his words, "While everyone else was spending money on cars, I was buying art on installments. I had a Chevy Chevette so I could buy my first Warhol at eighteen."
