Additional Information: Work is titled "Rock 'n Roll Never Dies," dedicated on reverse "For Soulis, Captiva, Dec. 4, 1977, Bob Rauschenberg." Provenance: Artist | Gift to Soulis Konstantinidis, owner of Soulis Art Gallery, Captiva Island, Florida and Athens, Greece | Private Collection, Saronida, Greece, by descent. The consignor elaborated that his father met Konstantinidis after he moved back to Greece from Captiva (where he was originally given the artwork by Rauschenberg). His father met Konstantinidis at an art event there and subsequently acquired this and several other works from his gallery. Two detail images in the online listing, provided by the consignor, depict Rauschenberg and Konstantinidis together.
