Additional Information: The "Thompson for Sheriff" screenprint was printed for the 1970 Pitkin County (Aspen, Colorado) sheriff's race/Freak Power Campaign in which local youths ran against the establishment. The artist was friends with author Hunter S. Thompson and this is one of several posters done for him as well as the cover for Thompson's book, "Fear and Loathing: On the Campaign Trail '72."
