Farrah Fawcett injured her wrist in a scene from the off-Broadway play "Extremities" in the early 1980s and had Andy Warhol and Keith Haring sign the cast at a party all three attended. An artist herself, she was both fan and friend to Warhol and Haring and kept the cast as a memento. As she did with many items from her professional career, she later gifted the cast to a friend. The cast was depicted in the People Magazine, December 5, 1983 article, "Drawing on Walls, Clothes and Subways, Keith Haring Earns Favor with Art Lovers High and Low," Michael Small, ppg. 147-148, photo of Ms. Fawcett wearing the cast pg. 148, as well as in Star Magazine (date unknown), attending a World Boxing Council event in New York City. Lot is accompanied by digital files of the related news clippings. Provenance: from a single collection belonging to a friend of Farrah Fawcett, (ID: 9378), Los Angeles, California.
