This lot consists of two Family Dog Productions concert posters for shows held at Avalon Ballroom, San Francisco, California. a) Blue Cheer, Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band, and Youngbloods performing July 27-30, 1967, with art by Tom Glass and Ned Lamont. This poster is #73-1 in the series. b) 13th Floor Elevators and Quicksilver Messenger Service performing September 30-October 1, 1966. This poster is #28 ( ) in the series. Provenance: The posters, along with several others of the same origin offered in this sale, were part of a Frankfurt, Germany estate, where they were stored for approximately fifty years.
