Lot is comprised of the following pieces: (a) Christmas card signed by Elizabeth Taylor and featuring a reproduction of her art; (b) photo of Elizabeth Taylor with Michaele Vollbracht; (c) photo of Elizabeth Taylor with former husband and Virginia Senator John Warner, with copyright Felice Quinto, New York stamp to reverse; (d) invitation to the 10.16.2011 Memorial Service for Ms. Taylor, with accompanying envelope addressed to Michaele Vollbracht. Provenance: The Estate of Michaele Vollbracht, Safety Harbor, Florida. Michaele Vollbracht (1947-2018) was an artist and fashion designer working both under his own name and for other designers, notably Bill Blass Limited, Geoffrey Beene and Donald Brooks. Vollbracht was the designer of Bloomingdale's famous Face Bag, and recipient of the 1980 Coty Award. His artwork has been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Smithsonian Institution and is included in many private collections, among them former President Gerald Ford, Diane von Furstenberg, Elizabeth Taylor, and Paloma Picasso. {source: Wikipedia}
