Baumgardner Center for the Performing Arts, dated 4.1.2016); (b) photo of Michaele Vollbracht with Janet Jackson, signed by Ms. Jackson; (c) photo of Michaele Vollbracht with former First Lady Laura Bush, signed by Mrs. Bush and with The White House official photograph stamp to reverse (photographer Shealah Craighead, dated 2.2.2007); (d) photo of male ballet dancer, signed, with copyright by H. Stanislas, Roma, to reverse; (e) nine pieces of correspondence between Michaele Vollbracht and his clients between 1975 and 1987, many signed with hand notations. Clients include Larry Hagman, Bill Blass, Joanna Carson, Margaux Hemingway, Liz Smith, and Stefanie Powers. Provenance: The Estate of Michaele Vollbracht, Safety Harbor, Florida. Michaele Vollbracht (1947-2018) was an artist and fashion designer working both under his own name and for other designers, notably Bill Blass Limited, Geoffrey Beene and Donald Brooks. Vollbracht was the designer of Bloomingdale's famous Face Bag, and recipient of the 1980 Coty Award. His artwork has been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Smithsonian Institution and is included in many private collections, among them former President Gerald Ford, Diane von Furstenberg, Elizabeth Taylor, and Paloma Picasso. {source: Wikipedia}
