Additional Information: Benjamin Palencia was a painter and co-founder of the Vallecas School, which sought to revive Spanish landscape painting in response to the rise of the avant-garde movements in the early 20th century. His works have been exhibited at the National Museum of Modern Art in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in Madrid, as well as in galleries in Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Munich, and Dusseldorf.
