Additional Information: Work is titled "Pablo Del Sol." Provenance: Artist. Christopher Hiltey began welding at a very young age. Influenced by the work of David Smith, Sir Anthony Caro and Alexander Calder, Hiltey’s work juxtaposes a strict formalism and appreciation for the history of abstraction and sculpture with a whimsical nature. His sculptures can be found in many public and private collections throughout the United States and abroad. He is also an avid collector and gallerist and owns Merge Gallery in Frenchtown, New Jersey. (source: artist)
