Christopher Hiltey began welding at a very young age. Influenced by the work of David Smith, Sir Anthony Caro and Alexander Calder, Hiltey’s work juxtaposes a strict formalism and appreciation for the history of abstraction and sculpture with a whimsical nature. His sculptures can be found in many public and private collections throughout the United States and abroad.
