Additional Information: Sculpture from the "Universal Man" series is titled "Warrior When I Need You." Each of the one hundred Darth Vader-inspired works in the edition is unique in color and design. This large work is a follow-up to Wolfryd's "Alterations" series, for which he partnered with Huichol artisans to create versions of well-known pop art and art toy pieces, intricately embellished in the beadwork of the Huichol people of Mexico. Historically associated with religious significance, the beading practice has in time become more commercial. Lot is accompanied by the Certificate of Authenticity issued by Wolfryd Collection. Provenance: Artist.
