Florence Putterman is known for her paintings, prints and collages both internationally and in the Sarasota, Florida area where she was highly active in the art scene. Her career spanned over four decades during which she received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Pennsylvania State University and a National Endowment Grant in 1979. Her paintings and prints have been displayed in museum and corporate collections including: Metropolitan Museum of Art and Brooklyn Museum, New York; Chicago Art Institute, Chicago; and Jacksonville Museum, Polk Museum, and Gulf Coast Museum in Florida. Provenance: Collection of Florence Putterman, Sarasota, Florida.
