Additional Information: Fred Sandback is known for his minimal sculptures and installations that outline planes and volumes in space. His earlier works used metal and elastic cord, while the later ones "dispensed with mass and weight by using acrylic yard to create works that address their physical surroundings, the 'pedestrian space,' as Sandback called it, of everyday life." Similar concepts are echoed in his drawings. (source: https://www.davidzwirner.com/) Provenance: Brooke Alexander Gallery, New York, New York.
