Additional Information: Freddy Wittop's drawing depicts the "Littlest Urchin" designed for the 1965 Sam S. Shubert Theatre production of "The Roar of the Greasepaint - The Smell of the Crowd." Costume designer Freddy Wittop won a Tony Award for his work on "Hello, Dolly!" and was also the recipient of a TDF Irene Sharaff Award for lifetime achievement in theatrical costume design. Provenance: Freddy Wittop Estate | Private Collection, Palm Beach, Florida, by descent as part of a larger collection of the artist's work, including lots 158-172 in this auction.

good with exception of some spotting in upper left half, signs of age and wear consistent with a functional artwork (not examined outside frame; spotted discoloration to matting)
