In press for the 2012 show, the gallery wrote: "Andrew Brischler's paintings and drawings explore his queer identity through his relationship to American popular culture." Lot is accompanied by the purchase receipt issued by Gavlak Gallery, Palm Beach, Florida, dated 10.6.2012.
