Work is titled "Poise," and is one of four Victor Salmones bronzes from a noteworthy collection of the artist's works. These are offered as consecutive lots 270-271b in this sale. Lot is accompanied by original purchase receipts and artist-signed Certificate from Gallery Victor, Acapulco, Mexico, dated 1978, along with a copy of pages excerpted from the book "Victor Salmones- Sculptor" in which both this work and "Point of View" (lot 271) are depicted and Mr. Swarens' name is mentioned in the list of collectors.
