Additional Information: Work is titled "Rosemarie Reclining Nude on Sofa with Child." Provenance: Purchased from Artist | Private Collection, Puerto Rico, now Central Florida. The consignor, a woman named Magdalena, operated a restaurant and bar in Puerto Rico's Historic District in the 1960's-1980's. The bar, El Patio de Sam, was a venue for local artists, where she became friends with Rafael Tufino. Magdalena introduced Tufino to her friend Rosemarie, who became Tufino's model and his wife. Rosemarie is the subject of several of the paintings in this collection, and several works are dedicated to Magdalena in the margins.
