Surrealist painting 'Personnel of Box Factory' by Robert Lincoln Springfels (1911 - 1984). Label to reverse: Society of Four Arts. Provenance: Collection of Mary Springfels | Private Collection, Florida. Springfels was the original set designer for Cecil B. DeMille Motion Pictures. His works are in numerous private collections and he has exhibited at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (California) and the Guggenheim Museum (New York).
