Work is titled "Narciso," (Mediano) and is one of four Victor Salmones bronzes from a noteworthy collection of the artist's works. These are offered as consecutive lots 270-271b in this sale. Lot is accompanied by the artist-signed certificate from Gallery Victor, Acapulco, Mexico, dated 1973, along with two books, titled "Victor Salmones" and "The Sculptures of Victor Salmones," in which "Narciso" is depicted several times and Mr. Swarens' name is mentioned in the list of collectors.
