Additional Information: Work titled "Tin Can Wilson gave a slack wire exhibition on a lariat" is an illustration done for the Wallace Irwin story "At the Sign of the Three Rings," published previously in "Collier's: The National Weekly," 3.23.1912. Lot is accompanied by the 1972 National Collection of Fine Arts/Smithsonian Institution exhibition catalog "Drawings by William Glackens," in which the work is listed as number 56.
